When and where is the conference?

The conference will take place in New York from November 18 - 20th, 2018.


What opportunities will be provided at the International Conference?

Under the guidance of our conference theme, “The Future of Work,” the 2018 International Conference will feature:

  • Keynote speakers in fireside chats, panels, and speaker series
  • On-site and off-site executive seminars
  • Peer-to-peer networking
  • Recruiting reception
  • Seed-funding competition


When is the application due?

We have three rounds of applications. The deadlines are below:

  • 1st round: May 31st at 11:59 PM Eastern Time

  • 2nd round: July 6th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time

  • 3rd round: August 16th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time


If I am waitlisted or rejected in an earlier round of application, can I reapply?

No, you cannot apply more than once to the general application. If you are waitlisted, your application will be re-evaluated within the next round of applications.


What are the requirements to apply?

You must be an undergraduate student, and you must be able to attend all three days of the conference (November 18 - 20th, 2018).


Do I have to pay to attend this conference?

No, this is all-expenses paid.


Is this application rolling?

The application is not rolling for the first round, but it will be rolling for the second and third rounds.


Am I at a disadvantage if I am a domestic student because this is an international conference, or vice versa?

No, we welcome both domestic and international applicants.


Who can apply for the Impact Challenge?

The Challenge is open to social entrepreneurs all over the world, including those accepted to the Conference through our regular application. Teams must be composed of one to five undergraduate students, and there must be an existing project to apply. The top five teams will receive a month of mentorship from top business executives, as well as the chance to compete at the International Conference for $15,000 in seed funding.

Last year's winner was Womentum, a crowdfunding platform for female entrepreneurs.
