November 18 - 20, 2018 | NYC

The application period for the 2018 International Conference has officially closed.

2018 International Conference

The International Conference is an all expenses-paid opportunity that connects undergraduate students around the world with business executives. We connect the leaders of today with students like you — the leaders of tomorrow.

This year's theme is "the future of work," where we will examine disruptions in the workforce and their implications for our generation.

3 Days | 150 ATTENDEES | 75 executives

our programs

Past keynotes have included:

Executive Seminars

Pairing five to seven students to one executive, these seminars offer an intimate setting for students to directly interact with CEO’s and founders of the business world, both on-site and off-site. Students will be able to ask questions and connect with business leaders in a way that is afforded exclusively by Business Today and the International Conference.

Previously, on-site seminars have included the President of Hermès, the COO of Rebecca Taylor, and more; off-site seminars have been held at Warner Music Group, the New York Times, and Major League Baseball.

Writing Competition

This year, we will be piloting a writing competition as an alternate application to the conference. Students will simply submit an editorial based on the conference theme ("The Future of Work"), and the grand prize winner will receive a spot at this year's International Conference. The top three editorials will be published in Business Today Magazine, which reaches over 200,000 students in North America.

Multiple entries are allowed, and students can apply using both the general application and writing competition, or either.

Impact Challenge

We are continuing the annual Business Today Impact Challenge, a seed-funding competition for students interested in social entrepreneurship. The Challenge is open to social entrepreneurs all over the world, including those accepted to the Conference through our regular application.

The five chosen teams will receive a month of mentorship from top business executives, as well as the chance to compete at the International Conference for $15,000 in seed funding.
